The nook provision

A nurturing space for learning, life skills and new possibilities.

The Nook has been created in partnership with Willowbank, Bee Free and New Routes Education to provide a blended academic learning and life skills offer for young people who benefit from a different approach to education.

We understand that the traditional classroom environment isn’t right for every learner. The Nook offers a relaxed, nurturing and supportive space where students can build confidence, develop essential life skills and engage with learning in a way that works for them.

Working alongside a team of exceptional educators and qualified teachers, we provide tailored academic learning opportunities, including pathways towards formal qualifications for identified learners. Provision can be commissioned on a one-to-one or small-group basis, depending on individual needs and the requirements of host schools and partners.

Located within walking distance of the farm, The Nook creates a natural connection between practical outdoor experiences and classroom-based learning. Activities and experiences on the farm can be brought into the curriculum, helping learners make meaningful links between what they do, what they learn and how they apply those skills in everyday life.

We work closely with host schools, families and partner organisations to develop a personalised education offer that supports each learner’s strengths, needs and aspirations. Our aim is to create a flexible, engaging environment where young people feel understood, supported and able to achieve.
